1. Introduction to the Application

LumyEYE is a 100% voice-operated mobile application designed to facilitate access to visual information for visually impaired individuals, seniors, and people with dyslexia. It offers smart voice-based photo description, document reading, and enriched voice-based search functionalities.

The application is published by LumyEYE, a SAS company with a share capital of 1 euro, registered with the Nanterre Trade and Companies Register under number 941 696 742.

2. Purpose of the ToU

These Terms of Use define the conditions of access and use of the LumyEYE application by its users.

3. Access to the Service

The application is available on iOS and Android. It offers a free trial period with 100% access to all features (internet search, AI-based information reading, photo analysis and description). This free access is limited based on usage volume and query type. After the trial period, access becomes subscription-based (monthly or yearly).

The service is intended for adults or minors with parental consent.

4. Main Features

Voice-activated photo: take photos using voice commands with smart visual analysis and spoken output.
Document reading: read printed or handwritten text aloud using interpreted or literal OCR.
Real-time vision: describe surroundings through the camera.
Enriched search: voice queries interpreted by AI with conversational responses.

5. Limitation of Liability

LumyEYE is an information assistance tool, not a medical, navigation, or safety system. Users are solely responsible for how they use the results provided.

Medical use: the app does not replace medical advice and must not be used to identify, interpret, or verify medication prescriptions.
Mobility and navigation: LumyEYE is not a safe navigation tool for outdoor movement. Users must stay aware of their surroundings and never rely solely on the app’s voice descriptions.

In case of doubt, danger, or the need for specific interpretation, users must consult a qualified professional or human assistant.

LumyEYE cannot be held liable for errors in image analysis, voice interpretation, software bugs, or user behavior.

6. Intellectual Property

All content within the app—including text, prompts, AI models, visuals, logos, and sounds—is the exclusive property of LumyEYE. Any reproduction or use without authorization is prohibited.

9. Governing Law
