My iPhone is mine again
Before, my husband had to read every screen to me. Now I dictate emails, find my way with Maps, play Spotify. By myself. My husband is relieved, and the natural voice changes everything.

The app for my mail
With my AMD, I can't make out the numbers on my bills anymore. Lumyeye reads my mail in the morning, I know what to pay. It's become my little ritual with coffee. My banker can't believe I manage my own bill pay now.
My wife regained her independence
I used to help my wife daily with mail, leaflets, the little tasks her glaucoma no longer let her do. Since Lumyeye, she manages 90% on her own. For her, it's dignity restored. For me, I can get back to tennis on Wednesdays without guilt. The first day she read a letter from our daughter on her own, we both cried in the living room. Live Vision mode is magical
I walk down the street with my iPhone in Live Vision. I ask "what's there?", "read me the storefront", Lumyeye answers right away. The shops, people, sale signs. I never used to go out alone. Now I take the metro, I go shopping. Magic.
My prescriptions finally legible
82 years old, cataracts in both eyes. Lumyeye reads me my prescriptions and medication leaflets. I don't have to ask my daughter to come decipher everything anymore. She's relieved, so am I. Going to get the yearly subscription.
A real daily help
Retinitis pigmentosa for 15 years, my visual field shrinks every year. Lumyeye gradually replaces what I can no longer do alone: reading aisles in the store, choosing between two cans, checking the oven clock. The app still struggles a bit with handwritten text — like prescriptions scribbled by doctors — but the team responds to reports within hours, and every update brings visible progress. For once, I feel a tool growing with my condition instead of becoming obsolete. A real daily help, and a worthwhile investment for €17.
Lumyeye Pro, waiting on Ray-Ban
Lumyeye Pro is already mind-blowing — I command Spotify, send emails, ask it to read a sign on the street, all by voice. The team confirmed Ray-Ban Meta compatibility is coming soon. When that's live, I won't pull out the iPhone anymore. For a ridiculous cost compared to Envision Glasses.

Indispensable for my work
OT at a low vision rehab center, I've recommended Lumyeye to my patients for six months. The learning curve is fast — two sessions for the basics, even for older patients uneasy with smartphones. The voices are natural, the Live Vision mode systematically impresses patients in rehab and helps them imagine regaining independence. Two reservations: I'd love patient-export features (team confirmed in progress), and a caregiver training mode. But fundamentally, this is the most mature and respectful software solution I know on the market today.
My kids at school, finally alone for homework

Good app, voice really well done
Diabetic retinopathy stage 3. Lumyeye does the job on mail and food labels — important to monitor carbs. Voice noticeably more pleasant than competitors. Gripe: a bit slow on 4G in the subway.
Independence at the grocery store
Blind from birth, 41, I live in Atlanta. At the grocery store, I used to take constant risks: ask a stranger to confirm a product, accept whatever they served. Lumyeye reads labels, recognizes products, tells me the expiration date when I ask. I do my shopping almost like everyone else now. My cart no longer gets the wrong yogurts, I can compare two brands, I can refuse an expired product. It's a dignity I'd never known in a store. Indispensable for work
Lawyer at the NYC bar, visually impaired by retinitis pigmentosa. Lumyeye helps me read printed case documents, my assistants' handwritten notes, signs and courtroom numbers. For $17 a month, it's the most cost-effective professional tool I've bought in 15 years. Colleagues ask me about it regularly — several have ended up installing it for a parent with AMD. The voice dictation mode also lets me draft my arguments independently, without depending on slow screen reading. I should ask Alban for a commission, honestly.
At 91, I figured it out
