Privacy Policy.

This English version explains the same data categories and retention schedule as the French privacy policy. The controller is Lumyeye SAS, 58 rue de Monceau, 75008 Paris, France. Contact: contact@lumyeye.com.

1. AI requests and feature permissions

Photos selected for analysis, voice requests and their transcriptions are processed to provide an answer. The published policy limits retention of this request content to the processing of the request. This is separate from saved files, memos and operational records described below.

A location request or route can use your current location. With permission, the app can use contacts on your phone to prepare a call, SMS or email. Lumyeye Pro does not read or manage your email inbox. It sends a one-shot dictated email, optionally with a photo. Dictated SMS opens the message composer and you confirm Send. Listening starts with your action; the app does not continuously track your location or listen all day.

2. Saved files, memos and conversation context

Files you save and memos you create are separate from temporary conversation context. Saved documents and memos remain available until you delete them; closing the app does not erase them. Copies you export, share or back up using another service are also subject to that service's rules.

Language, voice and other preferences may be stored on the device to personalize your experience.

3. Account, billing, support and technical data

You can start the Lumyeye Pro trial without creating an account. An email address may be requested for payment or support. Apple App Store and Google Play manage their respective store purchases; the subscriptions are separate. Stripe also handles certain purchases outside the stores. Technical data can include device model, operating system, app version and service identifiers. These records are distinct from the content of your photos and voice requests.

4. Why data is processed and who receives it

Data is used to answer your requests, operate subscriptions, respond to support requests, maintain the service and prevent abuse. The French policy sets out the legal bases: performance of the contract, legitimate interests, consent where required and legal obligations.

Lumyeye uses technical providers to run the service, including AI processing, app distribution, payments, hosting and diagnostics. The provider list and processing details are in section 4 of the French policy. Processing an AI request can involve sending the content needed for that request to a provider. Lumyeye does not sell your data.

5. Retention periods

The retention schedule published in the French policy is:

• AI request photos, audio and transcriptions: limited to processing the request.
• Saved files and memos: until you delete them; exported or backed-up copies are managed in the relevant service.
• Technical logs: up to 30 days.
• Anti-fraud logs: 12 months.
• Billing records: 10 years.
• User account: up to 3 years after last use.
• Support emails: 3 years after the last interaction.

Deleting an account does not necessarily erase records retained for billing or fraud prevention before their retention period ends. See account deletion for the process.

6. Your privacy rights

Under applicable data protection rules, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection to processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Contact contact@lumyeye.com with the subject “Privacy request”. The published response period is 30 days; identification may be requested if needed to verify the request.

You may contact the French CNIL or the relevant data protection authority. Applicable rights depend on your location and the processing concerned.

7. Website preferences and analytics

The website stores necessary preferences such as language, text size or theme. Audience measurement uses the site's consent controls. The French policy describes the purposes and retention of cookies and similar technologies. No advertising SDK or advertising identifier is used in the application according to that policy.
