Lumyeye uses a direct subscription: $14.90 per month for Classic or $16.99 per month for Pro. Seeing AI is free. Aira's Access AI is free for all users; human interpreter plans start at $26 per month for 20 minutes, with free Access Partner offers.
Be My Eyes connects you with a volunteer — is that better?
Be My Eyes offers two separate options: Be My AI describes photos and reads text without calling a volunteer, while a volunteer video call remains optional when human help is wanted. Lumyeye and Be My Eyes can complement each other according to the task.
Is Lumyeye really independent from other apps?
Lumyeye opens supported apps you already use, including Spotify, Google Maps and Mail. It does not replace them; supported commands go through Lumyeye by voice.
What about Android?
Lumyeye Pro is available on iOS 17.6+ and Android 9+. Lumyeye Classic also remains available on both platforms. Download Lumyeye Pro on Google Play.
Why doesn't Lumyeye Pro require an account on open?
Lumyeye Pro provides 40 free queries without a credit card; an email is requested at the first payment. Lumyeye Classic offers Apple or Google sign-in. Competitors' signup requirements were not rechecked for this update.
How is Lumyeye Pro activated?
A simple tap or double-tap anywhere on screen triggers listening. Sleep mode is automatic at the end of the answer. To interrupt an ongoing answer, a single or double tap is enough. The whole screen is the active zone — you don't have to target anything, unlike apps that demand a specific button.
