How this feature works
Use the camera to identify an item in your hand, read all legible text visible in the photo with OCR, and ask follow-up questions about that photo.
The user holds a spray bottle toward the phone camera and asks what they are holding. Lumyeye Pro identifies it as a bottle of Ajax Kitchen Degreaser. The camera provides the image; OCR can extract text that is legible on the label.
For everyday products, ask for the name, ingredients, composition, usage instructions or, on food packaging, the printed best-before or use-by date. Lumyeye Pro can answer follow-up questions about the photo already taken, without asking you to take it again. For example: “What is this?”, then “Read the ingredients” or “What date is printed?”
Only information visible and legible in that photo can be read. If the date or ingredient list is on the back, turn the package and take another photo. Check important details directly on the packaging when a label is unclear.
