Begin with the object you want to find

After a brief introduction and title sequence, the video shows an iPhone running Lumyeye Pro. Indoor Vision is active. The app identifies the requested object as a black bag and asks the user to confirm it, offering yes to confirm or no to change the request.

That confirmation is the starting point of the demonstration. The object search has a specific target rather than a general request to describe the whole scene. Confirming the target lets the user check that the app has understood the object they want before continuing.

Follow the search and spoken guidance

After confirmation, the screen indicates that the app is locking onto the target. The camera view contains caf茅 furniture, including a yellow chair, a table and the bag. Lumyeye Pro first says the bag is slightly to the right and asks the user to follow the beep. Later, it gives a straight-ahead cue while the phone continues to show the scene.

A spoken warning identifies the yellow chair ahead. That moment makes the sequence useful to follow: the requested bag remains the search target, while the app also names an object in the surroundings. The recording shows those two kinds of information within the same task.

See the selected bag highlighted

Later in the video, a green marker appears over the black bag in the camera view. The phone is brought closer to the table, and the marked bag remains visible. The video closes with a message about helping users find what they are looking for.

The highlighted view is the final visual result shown in this recording. It follows the confirmation, target search and guidance cues, giving viewers a concrete example of the object-search workflow.

Use the guide alongside the demonstration

The official Indoor Vision guide explains object-search requests and spoken or audible cues. It also notes that distance and some audible cues depend on the iPhone鈥檚 capabilities, particularly LiDAR. Keep using your usual mobility aids and stay aware of your surroundings when trying the feature.

To explore those distance cues separately, watch our distance estimates and beep-mode video. The English demo library contains other everyday tasks, and the download page provides the app links.
