Find a misplaced object by voice

"Lumyeye, where are my keys?" — the AI activates the back camera and describes what it sees in the room. Sweep the camera, get a continuous voice description. No background memory, no persistent map; everything is on demand.

Sample transcript and context

"Where are my keys?" Lumyeye Pro activates the back camera and describes what it sees in the room: "Your keys are visible on the coffee table, in front of you, slightly to the left." You sweep the room with the camera and Lumyeye Pro tells you vocally what it identifies along your gaze.

Useful variants: "Where is my bag?", "Where is the remote?", "Where is the doorknob?". Lumyeye Pro describes the visible scene; it does not do spatial sound pinging or precise distance measurement. Lumyeye Classic allows static description of a photo; Lumyeye Pro adds continuous voice description of the camera stream.

The AI analyzes the camera stream and describes what it sees; there is no long-term storage of locations and no persistent mental map. Each session, the app re-describes what it sees without memorizing your home layout.

Target: users with AMD, glaucoma or blindness who need to locate objects in their home without assistance. iPhone 16+, $16.99/month.

Frequently asked questions

Find an object — your questions.

Can I search for multiple objects at once?

Yes. Say "Lumyeye, find my keys and my wallet". The AI sweeps the environment with the camera and announces each object's location in turn: "keys to your right on the dresser, wallet in front of you on the coffee table".

Does the feature work outdoors as well?

Yes but with less reliability than indoors. Ideal for finding keys dropped in grass, a bag on a bench, or glasses on a patio table. Less effective for very small objects (button battery) or far away (> 5 meters / 15 feet).

Does Lumyeye Pro memorize habitual locations?

No. Lumyeye Pro reads what it sees in the current frame at the moment you ask. The app does not learn your habits and does not track an object over time: you film the room, Lumyeye Pro identifies what's visible. No background object memory.

What's the minimum object size detectable?

At 1 meter (3 feet), Lumyeye Pro detects objects between 2 cm and 1 meter (0.8 inch to 3 feet). A coin? Yes. A sewing needle? Too small. A key ring, a phone, glasses, a book, a remote? Perfectly detectable.

How do I trigger object search?

Tap or double-tap anywhere on the screen in Lumyeye Pro to activate listening, then say "Where are my keys?" and sweep the room with the iPhone camera.

Testimonial

Jeanne, 71, Rennes.

"I lose my keys ten times a day with my AMD. Before, I shouted for my husband. Now I sweep the living room with my iPhone, Lumyeye Pro says 'keys on the coffee table, slightly left'. I grab them. He keeps reading his paper, in peace."

— Jeanne, 71, Rennes, exudative AMD

Practical tips

Find your things alone with Lumyeye Pro.

  1. Sweep slowly with the camera. Move the iPhone in a slow horizontal arc. The AI describes what passes through its field of view.
  2. Ask for multiple objects at once. "Where are my keys and wallet?" — the app announces them in turn.
  3. Pair with the LED flash in low light. If the room is dark, turn on the flash by voice first.
  4. Don't expect a persistent map. Each session is fresh. Lumyeye Pro doesn't memorize your home layout.
  5. Designate a fixed spot for important items. A small dish near the door for keys. Even with Lumyeye Pro, a fixed spot reduces the search.
